SP of House=(5 4)*3 =(15 12),,,SP of shop(5 6)*2=(10 12), SP=12 unit=1 lac,,,,so 1 unit=1/12 lac,,,CP=25 &SP=24,,Difference=1 unit=1/12 lac loss

Hey, i have a query.. why we r calculating loss on SP and not on CP when nothing is mention in d question ..?? In my opinion If we calculate loss on cp then it will become 1/25 and not 1/24.. plz clear my doubt if u got what i want to ask..? thnq....
as given that sp= 1lakh each, sp= 24units------> 2 lakh so, loss= 1unit------> 2 lakh/ 24= 1 lakh/12
as given that sp= 1lakh each, sp= 24units------> 2 lakh so, loss= 1unit------> 2 lakh/ 24= 1 lakh/12
as given that sp= 1lakh each, sp= 24units------> 2 lakh so, loss= 1unit------> 2 lakh/ 24= 1 lakh/12
as given that sp= 1lakh each, sp= 24units------> 2 lakh so, loss= 1unit------> 2 lakh/ 24= 1 lakh/12
as given that sp= 1lakh each, sp= 24units------> 2 lakh so, loss= 1unit------> 2 lakh/ 24= 1 lakh/12

Got it sir thnq i was bit confused .. 😇😇
welcome 😊
how it is multiplied by 3 and 2
plz clarify my doubt why it is multiplied by 3 n 2 why not with 5 n. 4
got it little bit confused
given that selling price of house& shop = 1lakh each ie sp of shop = 1 lakh n sp of house = 1 lakh so here sp is same for both house n shop.ok
now, for house: sale with 20% loss for shop: sale with 20% gain you know 20%------> 1/5 if gain: cp= 5 & sp= 6 (for shop) if loss: cp=5 & sp=4 now, equating both SPs as given that sps are same (ie 1 lakh each) so take Lcm of 4 & 6 = 12 4*3=12 n 6*2=12 thats why we are multipling with 3&2
even we can multiply with 4 & 6 so that both sps= 24 (both remains same)
do u get it now?

shortcut is like %profit and %loss are same...so overall loss is 4%.....i e Cp:sp = 25:24 and Loss=1unit.... A/Q 24units--->2lakh(since 1lakh each) thus 1unit-->1/12 lakh
ranodip das apka logic galat hai because cp different hai
