Hi Ma'am, I have a doubt in chapter 5. Videos of chapter 5 only have details of NITI aayog , But in book there are numerous plans (Planning commission, Gandhian plan, congress plan, central planning, multi-level planning etc.). Please let us know if they are important for pre/mains purpose or not. Do we need to learn them from books ???

following are the reason to establish NITI AYOG. Planning commission was working on TOP TO BOTTOM module. Jha central govt state ki problems ko dhang se nahi samjh paati thi aur problems ko. 2. Planning commission work on 5 year plan . Isme dikat ye thi ki kabhi 5 year tak wo specific plan execute nahi kar pa rhe the. TO NITI AYOG pe short targets hote h 1 years taki unko time to time check kar sake + work efficiently ho sake.
yes planing commission is good but niti ayog is better than planing commission, changing is theory of nature, planning commission is good for that time but present time all things changed.
mam pl dont skip anything ..we rely on ur course only .

History of Niti Aayog Finance Minister Arun Jaitley made the following observation on the necessity of creating NITI Aayog, "The 65 year-old Planning Commission had become a redundant organization It was relevant in a command economy structure, but not any longer. India is a diversified country and its states are in various phases of economic development along with their own strengths and weaknesses. In this context, a 'one size fits all approach to economic planning is obsolete. It cannot make India competitive in today's global economy
