  3. Bhagavad Gita - The two words Bhagavad' and 'Gita' mean "the song of the Lord". - Gita is a philosophical poem, which was authored by Sage Vyasa, the legendary compiler of the Mahabharata. Gita comprises 18 chapters (700 verses).
