sir after giving 1/5 part of his income to his wife the man will give 2/7 of 4/5 to his elder son and then 1/4 of the remaining i.e. 27/35 of the original income so answer should not be any of the given options.
sir how to find the remaining part? 1by5 equal to 4by5 couldn't able to slove this. pls help
Ravi invests 50% of his monthly savings in fixed deposits. Thirty percent of the rest of his savings is invested in stocks and the rest goes into Ravi's savings bank account. If the total amount deposited by him in the bank (for savings account and fixed deposits) is Rs 59500, then Ravi's total monthly savings (in Rs) is sir in this question why we are taking (30%of 50%) But in time 3:59 you taking 0.6 as remaining but in question it is mentioned 40% of the remaining to younger daughter so is it we have to take (40% of 70%)

I think the solution for this would be as follows: Let the savings be "s" Fixed deposits=0.5s Stocks=0.5s*0.3=0.15s Saving A/C=0.35s 0.85s------59500 1s-59500/0.85=70000
